As a Sterile Processing Technician, you'll play a critical role in delivering safe, high-quality surgical care by making sure every instrument is thoroughly cleaned, sterilized, and ready when needed. Your focus on safety and attention to detail helps protect patients and empowers a team that's committed to the care and improvement of human life one surgery at a time.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Cleaning, disinfecting, sterilizing, and organizing surgical instruments and supplies following safety standards
• Monitoring sterilization cycles, documenting results, and resolving issues promptly to deliver on our commitment to safe, high-quality care
• Preparing and organizing instrument trays and surgical rooms based on the daily schedule and procedural needs
• Safely handling and disposing of biohazardous materials while keeping the work area clean and organized
• Working closely with nurses and surgeons to anticipate needs and support smooth, efficient surgeries

What qualifications you will need:

• Basic knowledge of surgical instrumentation and all aspects of sterilization processes, completion of a sterile processing program preferred
• Prefer six months to one year in a surgical or other related health care setting
• Knowledge of the functions of decontamination and sterilization equipment preferred
• Ability to exchange information in a factual, objective manner
• Willingness to take direction from multiple sources
• Able to be flexible with regard to task priorities and time schedules
