This role manages front desk responsibilities, work requests, schedules appointments, coordinates meetings, drafts correspondence, assists with the processing of invoices, assists with travel requests and reimbursements, and assists with purchasing and printing tasks. The position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and efficiency to support the department's overall functionality.
Minimum and Additional Requirements
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities- Ability to exercise discretion in interpreting and applying established policies and procedures and when dealing with people.- Ability to set priorities and manage details.- Medium to high level of proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, Access), and ability to quickly learn online tools such as SharePoint, Blackboard.- Experience in an educational setting.- Basic understanding of computer hardware and software and use of presentation equipment. Preferred Qualifications
Preferred Qualifications- Knowledge of University of South Carolina policies and procedures.- Experience in Banner, Blackboard, SharePoint, and PeopleSoft Systems.- Knowledge of government policies and procedures.
