About the Position

Job Title: Wound Care RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Wound Care Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 5x8 (07:30 - 16:00) Experience: Minimum 2 years required License: Valid RN License Certifications: BLS, WOCN Must-Have: Must have Wound Care certification by WOCN. Pediatrics experience is highly preferred. Description: This position requires a Registered Nurse specializing in wound care. The RN will provide wound assessment and management for various patient populations. The role includes caring for patients with complex wound conditions. The ideal candidate will have experience with multiple wound care techniques and equipment. Responsibilities include patient education and developing individualized care plans. The RN will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes. The position does not require weekend shifts or on-call duties. Familiarity with Epic charting system is necessary. Candidates must be able to float to similar units as needed. A thorough understanding of infection control practices is essential. The facility is a teaching hospital with a supportive learning environment. All candidates must adhere to facility compliance and training procedures. Travelers should be aware of potential emergency assignments during hurricane season. RTO (requested time off) must be specified at the time of application.
