Hospitalist Physician for AI Training

Role Overview

Apply hospital medicine expertise to help train AI systems focused on inpatient care and documentation standards. This is a remote contractor role reviewing clinical records and providing high-quality feedback to improve model performance and data quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Review medical records, including FHIR data and clinical notes, for AI training.
• Check whether clinical information and claims are supported by the medical record.
• Review inpatient documentation, including history of present illness, past medical history, assessments, and plans.
• Follow clear guidelines and apply the same standards consistently.
• Identify missing, incorrect, or inconsistent information in medical records.
• Share feedback to help improve AI models and data quality.
• Communicate clearly with the project team about work and findings.

Preferred Qualifications

• MD or DO, board certified in Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, or Hospital Medicine.
• Current or recent inpatient/hospitalist experience within the last 2 years.
• Strong understanding of inpatient documentation and hospital workflows.
• Comfort reviewing clinical notes and raw medical-record data.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow clear guidelines consistently.
• Experience with chart review, clinical documentation improvement, utilization review, medical coding, or quality assurance is a plus.
• Experience working across different inpatient services or specialties is a plus.

Work Terms

• Remote contractor engagement.
• $70–$100 per hour.
