Senior Microsoft 365 Administrator

Orbis is looking for a Senior Microsoft 365 Administrator who has grown up in the Microsoft ecosystem, uses Claude as a core part of how they work, and shows up every day with a servant mindset and an instinct to find yes. This is a hands‑on, people-facing role at the center of how Orbis operates. Every employee will know your name and be glad they do. Duties/Responsibilities Microsoft 365 & Identity Own the M365 tenant end to end – users, groups, licenses, Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Defender Manage the full Entra ID identity lifecycle – provisioning, offboarding, MFA, Conditional Access, SSO, and SCIM Maintain and enforce security and compliance policies across the M365 environment Endpoint & Device Management Procure, enroll, configure, and manage the end device fleet across Mac and Windows Enforce device compliance policies via Intune and Jamf Pro Manage Apple Business Manager and Windows Autopilot enrollment workflows Own asset tracking, warranty management, and device refresh cycles Employee Experience Serve as the first and last point of contact for employee technology issues – you own it until it's closed Deliver a best‑in‑class new hire technology experience on day one Own IT onboarding and offboarding end to end – from pre‑day‑one provisioning and equipment readiness through full access revocation, device retrieval, and account deactivation at separation Use Claude daily to accelerate documentation, troubleshooting, scripting, and communication Maintain documentation that is useful Required Skills/Abilities 6+ years of deep, hands‑on Microsoft 365 and Entra ID administration – this is your world Microsoft 365 Certified: Administrator Expert (MS-102) – earned because you wanted to, not because HR asked Expert‑level knowledge of Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive Strong Entra ID depth – Conditional Access, identity governance, SSO federation, SCIM provisioning Intune endpoint management including compliance policies, app deployment, and configuration profiles Jamf Pro experience for Mac fleet management Apple Business Manager and Windows Autopilot fluency Active Claude user – you use it to move faster, write better, and solve harder problems Desired Skills/Abilities AZ‑104 or SC‑300 certification Experience in a defense or national security environment Familiarity with Cyber Essentials Plus or CMMC 2.0 compliance frameworks PowerShell scripting comfort Character You are hungry – you pursue mastery because standing still feels wrong You are a servant leader – titles don't impress you, impact does You get to yes – your default is to find a way, not explain why something won't work Warm, patient, and genuinely enjoys making people's day easier Physical Requirements Sedentary Work: Primarily performs work in a seated position for extended periods of time; occasionally required to stand, walk, or move about the work area Fine Motor Skills: Regularly required to use hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, and other standard office equipment Vision: Ability to read and view a computer screen for extended periods; close vision and the ability to adjust focus required Hearing & Speech: Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in person, via telephone, and through video conferencing platforms; ability to hear and understand spoken information in a professional setting Lifting: Occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds (e.g., files, documents, office supplies) Concentration: Ability to maintain focus and attention to detail in a professional office or remote work environment Orbis Operations is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
