Senior Technologist SmeModern Technology Solutions, Inc. (MTSI) is hiring a Senior Technologist SME in Chantilly, VA. Qualified candidates must be U.S. citizens with a TS/SCI clearance and Full Scope Polygraph. Responsibilities include providing subject matter expertise in ways to improve and incorporate new technologies, resolve complex problems, and enhance processes. Additionally, the role requires deep technical and business expertise in microelectronics, high performance/quantum computing, and wireless/optical communication. Additional responsibilities may be added upon hire. Required qualifications include 5+ years of experience in microelectronics, high performance/quantum computing, or wireless/optical communication, strong technical leadership skills, strong verbal and written communication skills, proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel, and excellent organizational skills. Desired qualifications include 10+ years of experience as a technical SME, prior experience running a business and providing high-end SETA support to complex government missions. Education requirements include a Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics. Clearance requirements include TS/SCI clearance with a Full Scope Polygraph. The pay range for this position is $100,000 to $150,000/year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on established government contract ranges, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, and other factors.
