Are you looking for a hands-on manufacturing opportunity with great pay and room to learn new skills? We are hiring a Furnace Operator for a growing die casting foundry ! This is an excellent opportunity for someone with manufacturing experience who enjoys physical, hands-on work and wants to learn the foundry industry.

No foundry experience? No problem! The company is willing to train the right candidate. Manufacturing experience is ideal, along with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn.

POSITION - Furnace Operator

JOB LOCATION - Grafton, WI

STARTING DATE - Immediate

EMPLOYMENT TERM - Temp to Hire

EMPLOYMENT TYPE - Full Time

WORK HOURS (SHIFT) - 1st Shift

STARTING PAY - $23.50/hour

REQUIRED EDUCATION - High School Diploma or GED preferred

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE - Previous manufacturing experience is ideal, but willing to train the right candidate! Foundry or furnace experience is a plus.

Job Duties:

• Operate and monitor industrial furnaces used in the die casting process.
• Clean out and maintain furnaces to keep production running safely and efficiently.
• Pour molten metal according to established procedures and safety standards.
• Perform quality testing and inspections of materials and finished products.
• Monitor temperatures and production processes.
• Transport materials throughout the facility as needed for production and shipping.
• Band and secure finished materials for shipment.
• Assist with material handling and general production duties as needed.
• Follow work instructions and safety procedures when working around high-temperature equipment.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Wear and properly use all required personal protective equipment.

What We're Looking For:

• Manufacturing experience is ideal, but willing to train!
• Previous foundry, furnace, metalworking, or die casting experience is a plus.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
• Comfortable working in a hot, industrial manufacturing environment .
• Comfortable performing physically demanding, hands-on work.
• Ability to follow detailed safety procedures and work instructions.
• Strong attention to detail, especially when performing quality testing.
• Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic.
