This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.\n\nBasic Qualifications:\n\nThis role can be filled at Principal Software Engineer(T3) or Sr. Principal Software Engineer(T4)\n\nPrincipal Software Engineer: 05 Years with Bachelor\u2019s in related field of study, 03 Years with Masters, 01 Years with PhD or 04 additional years in lieu of a degree.\n\n * US Citizenship with Active DoD Secret clearance with a reinvestigation date occurring in the last 6 years.\n\n * Ability to obtain Special Program Access (SAP).\n\n * Ability to plan, execute, and manage the technical scope, and support leadership planning.\n\n * Experience with Agile and working in a cross-function Scrum team.\n\n * Working knowledge of Object-Oriented Analysis and Design principles\n\n * Experience developing complex software solutions using C++\n\n * Experience programming in scripting languages (Python, Bash).\n\n * Familiarity with Model-Based Systems Engineering languages (SysML/UML) and concepts\n\n * Experience Interpreting complex algorithms and requirements for implementation\n\n\n\n\nSr. Principal Software Engineer: 08 Years with Bachelor\u2019s in related field of study, 06 Years with Masters, 04 Years with PhD or 04 additional years in lieu of a degree.\n\n * US Citizenship with Active DoD Secret clearance with a reinvestigation date occurring in the last 6 years.\n\n * Ability to obtain Special Program Access (SAP).\n\n * Ability to plan, execute, and manage the technical scope, and support leadership planning.\n\n * Experience with Agile and working in a cross-function Scrum team.\n\n * Working knowledge of Object-Oriented Analysis and Design principles\n\n * Experience developing complex software solutions using C++\n\n * Experience programming in scripting languages (Python, Bash).\n\n * Familiarity with Model-Based Systems Engineering languages (SysML/UML) and concepts\n\n * Experience Interpreting complex algorithms and requirements for implementation\n\n\n\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\n\n * Bachelor\u0027s degree or higher in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM)\n\n * Experience with the Atlassian Tool Suite including Jira and Confluence\n\n * Proficient with DOORS, Cameo with the ability to write and decompose system requirements\n\n * Ability to evaluate risks and tradeoffs and present solution options to management\n\n\n\n\n#SentinelSoftware\n\nPrimary Level Salary Range: $103,600.00 - $163,600.00\n\nSecondary Level Salary Range: $129,300.00 - $203,600.00\n\nThe above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate\u0027s experience, education, skills and current market conditions.\n\nDepending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
