Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Welder to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating, repairing, and assembling metal components, specifically refuse and recycling containers. This is a hands-on position in a fast-paced shop environment, ideal for someone with solid welding experience and a strong work ethic.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manufacture and repair refuse and recycling containers
- Perform MIG and Stick welding to meet production and quality standards
- Read and interpret basic work instructions or fabrication requirements
- Operate welding equipment and related tools safely and efficiently
- Inspect finished work to ensure structural integrity and quality
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all shop safety procedures and guidelines
Requirements:
- Previous experience with MIG and Stick welding required
- Familiarity with welding tools, equipment, and fabrication processes
- Understanding of safety practices in a shop environment
- Must have own welding shield and basic tools
- Ability to perform physically demanding work (lifting, standing, bending)
- Reliable and able to work independently or as part of a team
- Able to pass a Background Check and a drug test (Smoke-Free Facility)
