About the Position

TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified ER/Trauma RN in Waynesboro, Pennsylvania, 17268!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (19:00 - 07:00) Experience: Minimum of 2 years in an emergency room setting License: Valid nursing license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS required Must-Have: - Minimum of 2 years of experience in an emergency room - Previous charge experience preferred - Proficiency with EPIC charting system Description: Shift is from 7 PM to 7 AM, with weekends and holidays as needed. Candidates must be able to float to other areas as required. Level I trauma experience is required. Candidates will undergo a clinical review to determine if they are a good clinical fit. If they pass the clinical review, they will be sent to the manager for a final decision. The manager will conduct interviews. First-time travelers are not accepted for this position. Requests for time off are limited to a maximum of 7 days. Candidates are expected to work weekends as needed, likely every other weekend. Holidays will also be required as needed. Floating to other areas may be necessary during employment. A blocked schedule will not be approved. The facility may care for COVID patients. The facility is tobacco and fragrance free. Candidates should notify travel staff prior to submission if they have any concerns. The candidate will care for a variety of patient diagnoses in the emergency room. Daily patient census will typically be around 65 visits per day. Candidates should be prepared to handle emergency situations including trauma cases. Preferred experience includes familiarity with a range of medical conditions and emergency procedures. All applicants must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19, with exemptions allowed for medical or religious reasons. Flu vaccine is also required with only medical exemptions allowed.
