Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct a variety of ultrasound examinations including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety throughout each procedure, using clear communication and empathy
• Work in close collaboration with radiologists and referring physicians to ensure the production of high-quality diagnostic images
• Manage and perform routine maintenance on imaging equipment, addressing any malfunctions promptly
• Maintain meticulous documentation of procedures and patient records within the electronic medical record system
• Stay informed on advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and guidelines

Educational Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field
• CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program completion is preferred

Certifications Needed

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred
