A premier Sarasota firm is seeking a Senior Labor and Employment Attorney with deep ERISA experience and a portable book of business to lead and grow the firm's labor and employment offering. This is a strategic platform opportunity for a senior practitioner ready to expand their practice within a high-caliber, business-focused firm.
Key Responsibilities
- Advise employers on the full spectrum of labor and employment matters including hiring, discipline, termination, classification, wage and hour, leave, and workplace policies
- Provide counsel on ERISA, employee benefits, retirement plans, executive compensation, and related compliance matters
- Represent clients in employment litigation, administrative proceedings, and dispute resolution
- Draft employment agreements, severance arrangements, restrictive covenants, and workplace policies
- Cultivate and grow client relationships, referral sources, and the firm's labor and employment footprint
Qualifications
- JD from an accredited law school
- Significant senior-level labor and employment experience
- Substantive ERISA experience required
- Portable book of business required
- Florida Bar admission required
- Strong reputation in the Florida employer-side L&E market
