Food Attendant - Piazza Food Venues

divh2Food Service Attendant/h2p$16.00 + per hour. Provides Food Beverage service to guests located at the venue assigned while ensuring all guests receive quality service. This includes working in all food venues in the piazza. Candidates will be performing a multitude of functions during the day i.e. money handling, building of guests orders, dining room up-keep, stocking coolers and shelves, working the hot line to produce food items as needed./ppKey Job Functions:/pulliReceives food and beverage orders from guests./liliProcess order via cash register with POS software. Handles cash, comp and credit transactions./liliPrepares food and beverage orders for eat-in and/or carry out./liliAdheres to the department standards for health and safety./liliLearns all stations of the venues including kitchen and preparation of all items on menu./liliVerify receipts and maintains correct bank balance for venue./liliClean tables in accordance with departmental procedures./liliPerform side work as assigned./liliGives breaks to fellow attendants./liliLight prep work/liliStocking of stations as assigned/liliKeeps guest dining area clean and clutter free/liliCooks food according to guest specifications/liliOther duties as assigned./li/ulpEducation and/or Experience:/pulliHigh School Graduate or equivalent preferred./liliMinimum 1 year in food service in a high-volume restaurant preferred./li/ulpQualifications:/pulliAbility to use cash register with POS software./liliStrong interpersonal and communication skills./liliBasic reading, writing, mathematical skills./liliMust be a team player./liliAble to consistently meet appearance standards./liliAbility to uphold and demonstrate the highest level of integrity in all situations and recognize standards required by a regulated business/li/ulpWork Environment:/pulliMust be able to work independently./liliMust be able to sit and/or stand for long periods of time (minimum of four hours)./liliDemonstrates a sense of urgency while performing tasks and meeting deadlines./liliMust be able to maneuver throughout all areas of the casino; from floor to floor either by stairways (minimum of 20 steps) or escalator./liliMust be able to lift, carry and/or push a minimum of 40 lbs./liliMust be able to stoop, kneel, bend, twist, turn, push, pull, grasp objects and the manual dexterity to operate a computer and other necessary office equipment./liliMust be able to tolerate areas containing secondhand smoke, dust, loud noises and bright lights./liliMust be able to work varied shifts, weekends and holidays as needed./li/ulpDisclaimer This is not necessarily an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, skills, duties, requirements, efforts or working conditions associated with the job.
