About the Position

Description: Seeking a Registered Nurse for an Emergency Department contract position. The role involves working night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM. The schedule requires rotating weekends with a commitment to 36 guaranteed hours per week. The unit has approximately 32 beds and a staff of 117, including RNs and support personnel. Patient-to-nurse ratios are 4:1, providing a collaborative team environment. Candidates must possess the following certifications: ACLS, BLS, ENPC, and TNCC. Preferred qualifications include over 2 years of experience in emergency care. Typical procedures performed on the unit include lumbar puncture, intubation, thrombolysis, laceration repair, suture removal, and splinting. We are looking for team players who can anticipate the needs of patients and the department. Dress code requires navy blue scrubs and a navy blue zip-up sweater.
