Nurse Medical/Surgical

Schedule: Nights, 12 hours, 36 hours per week

Assignment Details: Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week Contract Weeks: 13

Requirements:

• Current nursing license
• Experience in medical/surgical nursing preferred
• Ability to assess and respond to age-related physiological, emotional, and cognitive needs
• Knowledge of medication dosages and vital sign monitoring

Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care to patients on the medical/surgical unit
• Develop and implement care plans based on patient needs
• Monitor patient vital signs and physiological changes
• Supervise and delegate care responsibilities to ancillary personnel
• Address the psychosocial needs of patients
