Job Description We are currently seeking a Bilingual (Spanish) Physical Therapy Aide or Technician to join our outpatient clinic! This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team that promotes long‑term growth in the healthcare field. Responsibilities: Assist in and perform patient transfers and lifts using proper body mechanics, according to standard techniques. Assist the therapist in evaluations/treatments at the bedside and the rehabilitation gym (i.e., exercises, mat activities, orthosis fabrication, modality preparation). Report treatment activities, patient progress, and any unusual response to treatment or incident to the therapist. Maintain a neat/tidy appearance in all areas of the department, returning equipment/ supplies to designated areas Regularly sanitize exercise equipment, mats, and assistive devices according to hospital safety and infection control standards. Evaluate and distribute linen supplies, changing linens on treatment tables according to procedures Maintain medical supplies in all treatment areas Sustain organization in the closetsregularly Sweep soiled utility and equipment rooms at least twice weekly for therapy equipment Assist in department communication processes-answer telephones, transit messages from nursing service to the therapist, communicate between therapists, etc. Assist the therapist with delivery, set-up, and clean‑up of the treatment area (i.e., patient room, rehab gym, etc.) for patient care delivery Office location: 16320 Roscoe Blvd Suite #200, Van Nuys, California 91406 Qualifications Must be Bilingual in Spanish This position is full-time: Monday-Friday 8:00AM-5:00PM (Please ensure you are available full-time before applying) High School diploma or equivalent Strong customer service and telephone skills Good Computer skills with MS Office (MS Excel and Word) Experience as a Physical Therapy Aide in Outpatient settings is preferred but not required Additional information All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines. #J-18808-Ljbffr All Care Therapies
