Events Director

:

Directs and manages Foundation signature event as well as other events including strategy and donor experience for the fundraising events and stewardship event portfolio. This individual also supervises operations of events programs including development of an operating plan for the events team, budget creation and tracking, and oversight of master events timeline and task limit.

• Develops and adheres to departmental staffing, revenue and or expense budgets.

• Responds to changes in the business which may affect the ability to achieve the budget goals.

• Serves as main liaison with assigned donor groups or committees.

• Responsible for ensuring the Heartland Gala fundraising goal of more than $1 Million is achieved.

• Develops and manages event fund raising activities, focusing on strategy, renewals and prospecting for sponsorship and event participants.

• Acts as liaison with internal departments throughout the System.

• Works closely with the major gift officers to create donor experiences to ensure fundraising success.
