Job Description:
This position is for an experienced software engineer who will design, develop, and deliver secure, scalable enterprise applications using modern Java, workflow, web, cloud, and database technologies. The role provides technical leadership throughout the software development lifecycle, including solution design, hands-on development, DevOps and CI/CD practices, application security, and production deployment. The successful candidate will collaborate with technical and business partners, mentor junior engineers, and drive innovation and continuous improvement while delivering reliable solutions aligned with business and technology objectives.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, and maintain secure, scalable enterprise applications using Java, Spring, REST APIs, and modern web technologies.
• Develop and support workflow solutions using Camunda and related process automation technologies.
• Provide hands-on technical leadership, including solution design, code reviews, engineering standards, and mentoring junior developers.
• Design and implement secure authentication and authorization solutions leveraging technologies such as OAuth, OIDC, FIDO, TLS, and PKI.
• Build and deploy applications using cloud, container, and modern DevOps technologies.
• Develop and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines while promoting secure coding and software engineering best practices.
• Solid experience with database technologies: SQL, Oracle.
• Collaborate with business partners, architects, security teams, and other technology teams to translate requirements into effective technical solutions.
• Troubleshoot complex application, integration, performance, and production issues and drive issues through resolution.
• Participate in Agile delivery while driving innovation, continuous improvement, technical modernization, and overall engineering quality.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or equivalent related experience.
• 7+ years of hands-on software development experience in Java.
• Ability to lead and mentoring junior engineers.
• 2+ years of Camunda Workflow experience.
• Building and deploying applications in cloud and containers.
• Secure coding and best practices.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills for tech and business conversations.
• In-depth understanding of Java, Spring Frameworks and RESTful APIs.
• Proficiency in front-end technologies: React.js, Angular, HTML, CSS.
• Solid experience with database technologies: SQL, Oracle.
• Strong understand of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Thorough understanding of application security concepts, including authentication, authorization, session management.
• Familiarity with OAuth, OIDC, FIDO protocols and related products.
• Solid technical background and understanding of system architecture, loading balancing, TLS.
• Familiarity with cryptographic and PKI concept.
• Proficiency using software development tools: GIT, Maven, Jenkins, JIRA.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and tools sets.
• Strong technical and non-technical communication skills.
• Excellent judgement and problem-solving skills.

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience designing and delivering enterprise-scale identity, security, or workflow automation solutions, with exposure to modern cloud-native architectures and emerging technologies.
