Apply now to learn more about our team!Key Responsibilities:Assisting providers with direct patient care including: interviewing the patient and documenting vitals and medical concerns and conditionsConducting requested screening/testsDrawing blood and administering shots to patientsResponding to telephone inquiriesMaintaining equipment and supplies in exam rooms and officeCompleting encounter forms and code as necessaryConducting referrals for patientsPerforming other duties necessary to provide excellent patient care to the patients and to support our providersQualifications:Graduate of a certified Medical Assistant programActive CPR certificationPrefer at least one year of experience in community health nursing setting or private physician practice.Preferred experience working with electronic health records, or proven computer skills a mustExcellent communication and customer serviceAttention to detailAbility to handle confidential and sensitive information and relate to persons from diverse educational, socioeconomic, and ethnic backgroundsExperience working with persons of diverse educational, socioeconomic and ethnic backgrounds is a plus.Medical Assistant Levels This role is part of our Medical Assistant tier system, which includes: Medical Assistant, Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), Registered Medical Assistant (RMA), and Senior Medical Assistant levels.
