Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Caregiver role located in Murfreesboro, TN. In this position, the Caregiver will assist seniors with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility support, and toileting. The role includes providing companionship, engaging clients in conversation and activities, and monitoring overall well-being and safety in the home. The Caregiver will help with light housekeeping tasks, meal planning and preparation, and may assist with errands or transportation as needed. Team members are expected to follow care plans, document services and changes in condition, communicate clearly with supervisors and family members, and uphold Cornerstone Caregiving’s standards of dignity, respect, and compassion. Qualifications Ability to provide personal care and assistance with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, toileting). Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build trust, offer companionship, and maintain professional relationships with clients and families. Basic household management skills, including light housekeeping, safe meal preparation, and adherence to cleanliness and safety standards. Reliability in following care plans, documenting services accurately, and reporting changes in client condition to supervisors. Capacity to work independently, manage time effectively, and respond calmly and appropriately to unexpected situations. High school diploma or equivalent; prior caregiving, home care, or healthcare experience is preferred but not required. Ability to meet any state or agency requirements, which may include background checks, reference checks, and training or certification (such as CNA/HHA) where applicable. Physical ability to perform caregiving tasks, including lifting or supporting clients safely, standing for extended periods, and moving around the home environment.
