Clinical Research Associate II, Phase I - Florida

Fortrea seeks a Clinical Research Associate II with Phase I experience to conduct site monitoring, manage study files, ensure protocol compliance, and oversee data integrity for clinical trials. Based in Daytona Beach, Florida, the role requires frequent travel and clinical research expertise.
Responsibilities
- Conduct routine and close-out monitoring of clinical sites, maintain study files, and perform initiation visits
- Verify informed consent procedures and protocol compliance according to regulatory requirements
- Review Case Report Forms, identify data discrepancies, and generate queries for resolution
- Complete Serious Adverse Event reporting, narratives, and follow-up documentation
- Coordinate clinical projects as Local Project Coordinator and assist in training new staff
Requirements
- University or college degree, or certification in allied health profession (e.g., nursing licensure)
- 1+ years of clinical monitoring experience
- Phase I clinical trial experience
- Ability to travel 40-50% overnight
- Proficiency with electronic data collection systems and software
- Strong attention to protocol adherence and data quality standards
Compensation: $100,000-$120,000
