Overview Registered Nurse, Operating Room (OR) travel assignment in York, Maine. Start date 10/12/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay range $2,208-$2,279. Guaranteed hours 36 per week. Key Highlights Weekly pay: $2,208-$2,279 per week Guaranteed hours: 36 per week Contract duration: 13 weeks Shift: four 9-hour shifts, 6:45 am–4:15 pm, Mon–Thu with on-call Start date: 10/12/2026 Setting: travel OR nursing in a hospital environment Responsibilities Provide intraoperative nursing care as circulating and scrub nurse for orthopedic cases, maintaining a sterile field and assisting with instrumentation Assist with patient positioning, draping, surgical counts, and preparation of the operative suite; anticipate the needs of the surgeon and team Monitor patient status intraoperatively, coordinate with anesthesia, document events, and uphold patient safety and aseptic technique Maintain OR readiness and turnover, manage equipment and implants, and support efficient case flow Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and OR staff; participate in safety protocols and on-call duties as assigned Adhere to mandatory BLS and ACLS standards; ensure proper counts, labeling, and instrument management throughout procedures Requirements Mandatory BLS and ACLS certifications OR experience with circulating and scrub responsibilities; strong orthopedic (ORTHO) expertise required Ability to work in an OR environment Monday through Thursday with on-call Experience level: 5 years of OR experience preferred Benefits and Support 24/7 recruiter and travel support Dedicated support throughout the assignment Fast credentialing Nationwide assignments Referral bonuses and ongoing assignment opportunities PAY DISCLAIMER Please note: Pay rates and guaranteed hours are estimates and may vary.
