RECORDS COORDINATOR
Basset Hound Rescue of Southern California
Position Requirements - The Records Coordinator requests, reviews, and sends medical records after a hound is adopted, as well as registering and transferring microchip information. They must be organized, detail orientated, a good communicator, and able to check and respond to emails at least once per day.
- Request medical records via email from the veterinarian’s office upon a completed adoption
- Review all records received for accuracy and completeness
- Prepare and distribute completed records to adopters
- Register microchip information and transfer the registration upon a completed adoption
- Upload completed records and microchip information to the BHRSC database
- Maintain a system for tracking records requested and received
- Troubleshoot any discrepancies in records
- Communicate timely and effectively with adopters
