Senior Financial Accountant

To support a finance function in transformation, the contract-to-permanent Senior Financial Accountant will manage statutory reporting, oversee audits, and ensure compliance for both Australian and US entities while working remotely. Key responsibilities Lead the preparation and management of statutory audits and financial statements in compliance with AASB and IFRS Ensure accuracy of the general ledger and provide technical accounting guidance within the finance team Oversee tax compliance, including income tax returns and payroll obligations across Australia and the US Required qualifications CA or CPA qualification is mandatory 6+ years of progressive accounting experience with significant external audit exposure Proven experience in preparing and defending statutory financial statements Expertise in Australian tax regulations, with US tax experience preferred Experience with multi-entity consolidation and intercompany eliminations
