Position: Municipal Project Manager Location: North Little Rock, AR Job Id: 5209 # of Openings: 1 Garver seeks a Project Manager that will serve as the River Valley Municipal Leader to join our growing Transportation Team in Conway or Little Rock, Arkansas to continue the tradition of providing reputable service to our clients.Responsibilities of this role include:Project managementSub-consultant coordinationProject/task schedulingCivil designPlan production oversightPreparing cost estimatesClient interaction and developmentTechnical experience should include:Geometric design for roadwaysDrainage designConstruction sequencing and traffic controlUtility relocation coordinationMarketing activities may include assisting in the production of proposals and letters of interest, as well as participation in interviews and other presentations.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in civil engineering from an ABET accredited programLicensed as a Professional Engineer (PE)Six (6) to twelve (12) years of relevant experiencePractical working knowledge of the American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials (AASHTO) Green Book, the Roadside Design Guide, the Highway Capacity Manual (HCM), and the Manual Uniform Traffic Control Device (MUTCD)Experience with MicroStation, Geopak or InRoads and/or other roadway design softwareStrong written and verbal communication skillsStrong working knowledge of MS OfficePreferred Skills:Previous experience in consulting engineering with a primary focus on transportation projects3D Design experienceLicensed as a Professional Engineer (PE) in the State of Arkansas, or will have the ability to obtain reciprocity within three months of hireGrow With UsGarver offers its employees programs such as company-paid professional memberships, company support for industry licenses and continuing education opportunities that foster a progressive atmosphere.
