Forward Deployed Engineer (Post-Sales) | AI Infrastructure

Base Salary: $230,000+Base with Competitive Equity I'm hiring on behalf of a well-funded AI startup backed by leading technology investors, building next-generation infrastructure that helps organizations optimize AI model training and deployment. We're looking for an experienced Forward Deployed Engineer (Post-Sales) who enjoys solving complex technical problems, working directly with enterprise customers, and deploying production-scale AI infrastructure across hybrid and cloud environments. Key Responsibilities Lead end-to-end customer onboarding, implementation, deployment, and production rollouts. Serve as the primary technical advisor for enterprise customers throughout their deployment journey. Design scalable, secure infrastructure across: Architect distributed systems involving compute, networking, storage, and infrastructure automation. Collaborate closely with Sales, Engineering, and Research teams to deliver customer-focused technical solutions. Travel to customer sites when required for strategic deployments. Requirements 5+ years in a customer-facing technical role such as: Solutions Engineer Customer Engineer Technical Implementation Engineer Strong experience with: Distributed Systems Infrastructure-as-Code Deep expertise in: AWS Networking IAM Storage Compute Programming experience in: Python SQL Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage both technical teams and executive stakeholders.
