Construction Growth Leader (Hybrid) - Bay Area

An expanding Construction & Field Services Division is seeking an experienced Head of Construction Development to lead strategic growth, strengthen client relationships, and expand market presence across public and private sector projects. This senior leadership role is ideal for a seasoned construction professional with deep industry expertise, strong business development skills, and an established network within the Bay Area construction market. What You’ll Do Lead business development and growth initiatives Build and maintain strong client, consultant, and subcontractor relationships Support proposals, estimating, and project pursuit strategies Provide executive oversight for construction and field services projects Review budgets, forecasting, and project financial performance Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and contractual requirements Mentor and develop project and field teams Collaborate with executive leadership on long-term construction strategy and market expansion Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade associations What We’re Looking For 20+ years of construction, civil, environmental, or related industry experience Senior leadership experience within construction management or professional services Proven success in driving business growth and repeat client work Strong understanding of public and private sector construction delivery methods Excellent communication, leadership, and decision-making skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid environment Bachelor’s degree preferred (Engineering, Construction Management, Geology, Environmental/Earth Sciences, or related field) A Professional Engineer California License is preferred Valid California Driver’s License required Additional Details Hybrid/remote flexibility available Must live within driving distance of Bay Area job sites Pre-employment background, drug/alcohol screening, and physical requirements apply Salary Range: $190,000 to $220,000 If you’re a respected construction industry leader ready to shape growth strategy and lead high-impact projects, we’d love to hear from you.
