Job Overview A law firm seeks an Employment Litigation Associate for its Sacramento, CA office. The role involves defending and litigating a variety of employment-related claims and providing counsel to employers on labor law issues. Duties Defend and litigate lawsuits involving employment-related claims and agency charges. Advise, counsel, and train employers on employment and labor law issues. Represent employers in court, arbitration, and before administrative agencies. Handle mediations in employment matters, including class actions and discrimination cases. Requirements 4-6 years of experience, with a strong preference for an employment law background. Current CA Bar admission in good standing. Understanding of state and federal agency procedures. Education JD from an ABA-accredited law school with excellent academic credentials. Certifications Current CA Bar admission. Skills Excellent written and oral communication skills.
