Neshaminy Montessori is seeking a passionate, experienced Montessori Primary Directress to join our dedicated team. We are a well-established Montessori school in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, serving children for more than 50 years. Our beautiful campus and collaborative faculty provide an environment where both children and teachers thrive.
We are looking for an educator who believes in fostering independence, curiosity, and a lifelong love of learning through authentic Montessori principles. The ideal candidate is warm, organized, collaborative, and committed to creating a peaceful, engaging classroom where every child is respected and encouraged to reach their full potential.
Responsibilities- Lead a Montessori Primary classroom (ages 3–6).
- Prepare and maintain a beautiful, organized Montessori environment.
- Present Montessori lessons with fidelity to Montessori philosophy.
- Observe, assess, and guide each child's individual development.
- Foster independence, confidence, and social-emotional growth.
- Build positive, professional relationships with families through regular communication.
- Collaborate with administrators and fellow teachers to support the school's mission.
Required:
- Bachelor's Degree in Education, Early Childhood Education, or a related field.
- Montessori Early Childhood (Primary 3–6) Certification (AMS, AMI, MACTE-accredited, or equivalent).
- Experience teaching in a Montessori Primary classroom.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- A genuine love of working with young children.
- Pennsylvania teaching certification (preferred but not required).
- Experience working collaboratively within an established Montessori community.
- CPR/First Aid certification.
