Class A CDL Semi-Local Driver

Job Description

Join a dedicated CDL-A fleet that offers consistent freight, assigned equipment, and dependable year-round work. This semi-local position is ideal for drivers looking for no-touch freight, dedicated lanes, and the stability of a customer-focused operation serving the Midwest.

Drivers on this account haul general freight from Bensenville, IL to customer locations throughout Illinois, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Indiana, Michigan, and Ohio. With 100% no-touch freight, assigned sleeper tractors, and consistent live load and unload appointments, this position provides reliable miles and long-term career stability.

Compensation and Benefits

Average weekly pay of $1,750
No-touch freight

Limited-Time Hiring Bonus

Drivers hired on or before September 18 will receive:

$1,000 after first dispatch
$1,500 after 30 days of employment

Total Bonus: $2,500

Job Details

Semi-local dedicated account
Haul general freight
Deliver throughout IL, WI, MN, IN, MI, and OH
100% no-touch freight
All loads are live load and live unload
Typical loading and unloading time is approximately 1 hour
Consistent freight volumes and customer demand

Equipment

Assigned automatic sleeper tractors
No slip seating
Modern, well-maintained equipment
Trucks must remain at the account during time off

Requirements

Valid Class A CDL
Minimum 3 months of Class A CDL driving experience
Strong safety record
Professional and dependable work ethic
Ability to work flexible assignments when needed

Special Requirements

Drivers are expected to assist nearby DCS and JBI accounts when freight volumes are low
Flexibility is required to support business needs across multiple operations
Uniforms are provided and required
