Board Certified Behavior Analyst

Responsibilities Creating appropriate programming for the client based upon results from initial and ongoing assessments, needs of the client, and providing support utilizing best ethical practices Implementing treatment to clients as authorized by the insurance funder in their treatment plan Maintaining clinical requirements for behavior treatment plan monitoring per insurance funder’s credentialing requirements or community mental health organization in addition to the specifications listed within Gateway policies and procedures Conducting initial and ongoing client assessments, and based upon these assessments, designing and maintaining top quality treatment programs, which align with Gateway policies/procedures and organizational philosophy/mission Updating behavior treatment plans based on results of ongoing evaluation and in collaboration with relevant stakeholders and overseeing agencies (e.g., BTC) Delivering high quality caregiver training to parents, guardians, foster workers, grandparents, etc. Delivering high quality staff training with community living supports (CLS) staff and Adult Foster Care (AFC) staff Developing plans and interventions using person‑centered planning while exercising cultural competency Collaborating with outside professionals from other disciplines (e.g., therapists, case managers, psychiatrists, teachers) Exercise discretion and independent management of client services and supervision of treatment protocols based upon Gateway policies and procedures, and in accordance with Gateway organizational philosophy/mission Determining appropriate and effective techniques to be used in implementation of goals of any treatment plans Overseeing and maintaining accurate and organized records, client notes, data, and reports for internal and external processes Preparing and attending client treatment team and educational meetings such as IEPs and developing treatment recommendations therein Maintaining credentialing and licensing as required through procedures set forth by the state of Michigan and the Behavior Analysis Certification Board (BACB) Attending all required trainings, conferences, and colloquia to remain in compliance with guidelines set forth within the policies and procedures of Gateway Maintaining client privacy in accordance with all HIPAA regulations and with Gateway policies and procedures manual Working cooperatively and courteously with internal staff and outside stakeholders including school personnel and administration, outside service providers, and any and all other persons who may be contacted Maintaining the highest standards of professionalism in all client and staff interactions Reporting directly to the Director of Behavior Management Services and the Senior Regional Director of Macomb/Wayne Regions Qualifications Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a related field, required Certification and licensure in Behavior Analysis and approval to supervise students as needed Demonstrates strong organizational, communication, and collaborative skills One or more years in a supervisory, leadership, or management role One or more years of experience developing behavior treatment plans, with preference given to individuals with experience developing and presenting plans to behavior treatment committees (BTCs) No criminal history precluding employment under federal and state law and regulations in a federal or state program Reliable transportation and willingness to drive for work (travel to and from client houses is required) Availability of 2-3 evenings per week (two for part time, three for full time) At least two years of computer experience – Word, Excel, Outlook Experience with the assessment and treatment of severe behavior (preferred) Familiar with the model of consultative behavior treatment planning (preferred) Two years experience in a behavioral health setting where evidence‑based practices and applied behavior analytic techniques are utilized (preferred) #J-18808-Ljbffr
