Cohen Children's Medical Center, The Department of Pediatrics of Northwell Health and The Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell seek a Board Certified Pediatric Hepatologist to join the Division of Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition as the Medical Director of the Pediatric Liver Transplant program.Our program is at the forefront of pediatric hepatology, offering comprehensive care for children with both transplant and non-transplant liver diseases. The Division includes a multi-disciplinary team of physicians, surgeons, advance practice nurses, dieticians and social worker. Expertise in IBD, Pediatric Hepatology, intestinal rehabilitation, nutrition disorders, a comprehensive aerodigestive program and advanced biliary endoscopy are among other well-developed programs fully supported by a multi-specialty, cohesive team approach. There is a long-standing clinical research program that now includes three research coordinators.Cohen Children's Medical Center opened in 1983 as the New York metropolitan area's only hospital designed exclusively for children.
