Direct Support ProfessionalNeuron Health Systems is a community-based provider of acute outpatient rehabilitation and medical and non-medical direct care. We deliver individualized, family-centered support — partnering with families and caregivers and applying an interdisciplinary approach so every patient can reach their fullest potential.We're looking for a Direct Support Professional to help adults with developmental disabilities live full, independent lives in their homes and communities. This is an on-site role built around one-on-one support, day in and day out.What You'll DoSupport individuals with daily living skills, including hygiene, meal preparation, and household tasks.Assist with community integration activities — appointments, errands, and recreational outings.Support individuals in building social, communication, and independent living skills.Provide medication reminders in accordance with the individual's plan.Monitor and document behavior, health status, and daily progress.Follow each individual's person-centered support plan.Communicate regularly with the care team about changes in needs or condition.Maintain a safe, respectful, and supportive environment at all times.What You BringHigh school diploma or equivalent.Experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities preferred.CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.Patience, reliability, and a genuine commitment to person-centered care.
