HR Generalist

Provides support in all human resource policies and procedures and conducts a variety of Human Resources activities such as staffing, benefits, compensation administration, and employee relations.Must be a US Citizen due to Federal Contracts.Essential Responsibilities:Analyzes metrics to evaluate information to devise strategies that boost satisfaction and productivity throughout the organization.Administers benefit programs, serving as point of contact for staff and providers.Provides support and guidance to Managers and Supervisors as needed in the areas related to HR and policies.Prepares ad-hoc reporting as needed.Maintains and keeps up to date with current employment laws and HR practices.Champions initiatives that provide internal development opportunities for all employees.Ensures compliance with all HR related reporting requirements.Ensures proper documentation and recordkeeping for the full life cycle of the employee.Serves as mediator to help identify, address, and resolve problems, and recommends appropriate action and documentation.Ensures Temporary staffing levels are appropriate as needed and works with agencies and leaders.Uses HRIS as a tool for automation of duties.Provides support in all engagement and employee morale activities.Prepares internal employee communications, as necessary.Acts as witness and ensures legal conformity to all disciplinary measures taken.Responsible for the preparation of information required for compliance with legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resource functions.Responsible for maintaining Applicant Tracking System, job posting program, recruiting, interviewing, and working with hiring managers in the new employee selection, and for sourcing and managing candidate selection.Reviews employee separation notices and related documentation, and conducts exit interviews to determine reasons behind separations.Planning and conducting new employee orientation to foster positive attitudes toward company goals.Shares in the responsibility of the open enrollment process.Responsible for keeping records of personnel transactions such as hires, promotions, transfers, performance reviews, and terminations.Skills and Specifications Required:Completion of a Bachelors’ degree or HR certification or equivalent4 to 6 years of related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experienceAbility to read and interpret documents such as client requirements, work instructions, and procedures.Ability to work with and be proficient with Microsoft 365 software and various other office equipment.Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.Ability to speak effectively and professionally before customers, vendors, supervisors, and employees of the organization.Abilit to write and complete routine reports and correspondence.Ability to respond effectively to sensitive inquiries and complaints.Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, commissions, interest, and percentages.Ability to exercise tact, judgement, persuasiveness, and diplomacy with internal and external customers.Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from employees and regulatory agencies.Ability to multi-task and set priorities.Ability and knowledge to work with HRIS software and systems.Knowledge and comprehension of current employment practices and laws.Spanish bilingual Preferred #J-18808-Ljbffr Priority Dispatch Corp.
