QA Claude Lead

Job Description This QA Engineer will split their time between manual testing and automation (roughly 50/50) while leveraging Claude to enhance efficiency. On a daily basis, they will review and manage QA Jira tickets, execute manual test cases, and automate repetitive testing scenarios. They will use Claude Code to assist in generating test scripts, identifying defects, and improving test coverage, while also training Claude workflows to better detect patterns in bugs and application behavior. The ideal candidate should have strong experience leveraging Claude (Anthropic AI) to enhance testing practices, automate workflows, and improve overall product quality. This individual will operate in a hybrid capacity across manual and automated testing, utilizing Claude-based tools and agents to accelerate defect detection, triage, and resolution. This role requires a forward-thinking QA professional who can blend traditional QA methodologies with emerging AI capabilities to improve testing efficiency and scalability. To learn more about how we collect, keep, and process your private information, please review Insight Global's Workforce Privacy Policy: Skills and Requirements 5+ years of experience in QA Engineering (manual + automation) 2-3+ years of experience within a leadership role - ability to assess environment and provide communication across the business Strong hands-on experience with Claude AI, including: Claude Code (prompting, scripting, and test generation) Training and iterating on bug detection workflows using Claude Utilizing Claude agents to support QA processes Experience managing and tracking defects within Jira, including: Writing, updating, and closing QA tickets Clear bug documentation and reproduction steps Experience executing manual testing (functional, regression, UAT) Experience with test automation frameworks (any of: Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, etc.) Ability to create and maintain test cases, test plans, and QA documentation #J-18808-Ljbffr Insight Global
