Schedule

36 or 48 hrs/week rotating shifts, including day, evening, night, weekends, and holidays. On-call and callback may be required.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our fast-paced Adult Emergency Department (ED). This state-of-the-art facility manages over 100,000 visits annually and is recognized as one of the busiest trauma centers in the country. As the only Level I trauma hospital in the area, you will be responsible for treating a diverse patient population and assisting with border patients.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department.
• Assess and monitor patient condition, administering necessary medications and treatments.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to provide comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain a safe and effective working environment in a fast-paced setting.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current NY RN License is required.
• Minimum of two (2) years of Emergency Department experience.
• Telemetry experience is required.
• Prior travel experience in an Emergency Department is a must.
• Certifications: BLS and ACLS from the American Heart Association, NIHSS certification is required.
