Exciting contract opportunity for a licensed Occupational Therapist to step in for a maternity leave and make a meaningful impact in a school-based setting near Concord, NC. This full-time position supports student success across multiple campuses with a focus on providing comprehensive OT services as part of a collaborative educational team. The assignment is expected to begin as soon as possible and continue tentatively through January 31, 2027.

Key Qualifications:

• Active and current NC Occupational Therapist license (please provide proof with application)
• Previous experience as an OT in a school setting strongly preferred
• Familiarity with ECATS (Exceptional Children Accountability Tracking System)
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with educational staff and families
• Adaptability for itinerant work across several schools

Core Responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy services to students in accordance with IEP goals
• Complete required documentation and maintain records in compliance with school and state protocols
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to promote student progress
• Travel between assigned school sites, including W.R. Odell and Mary Frances Wall Center, with flexibility for other locations as needed
• Participate in team meetings and contribute expertise for student evaluations
• Stay current on best practices and maintain required continuing education or credentials
