Seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist with a dedication to supporting students’ educational and developmental growth in a dynamic school setting. This exciting contract opportunity involves providing school-based OT services throughout multiple sites and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to make a difference in the lives of children. This position is ideal for an NC-licensed OT ready to step in for a maternity leave, offering consistent full-time hours and the chance to work with a diverse student population.

Qualifications:

• Active Occupational Therapy license in North Carolina (must submit a snapshot of license with application)
• Previous experience delivering OT services within a school environment
• Familiarity with ECATS documentation and processes
• Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills
• Ability to work effectively as an itinerant OT across multiple campuses, adapting to varied student needs
• Experience collaborating with classroom teachers, parents, and special education teams is highly preferred

Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive school-based OT services to students at assigned sites
• Evaluate, plan, and implement treatment plans addressing students’ fine motor, sensory, and functional skills
• Maintain up-to-date and effective documentation using ECATS
• Support Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and participate in IEP meetings
• Consult regularly with educators, family members, and other therapy professionals
• Travel between campuses as needed, ensuring seamless service delivery

This full-time position (37.5 hours/week) runs tentatively through January 31, 2027, providing consistency and the ability to leave a lasting impact. Interviews will be conducted via Zoom for your convenience.
