This maternity leave coverage runs from now through January 31, 2028 (tentative), offering a chance to deliver vital care in a collaborative, school-based setting. As an itinerant OT, you'll work across various educational environments, helping students thrive academically and socially.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Must hold an active North Carolina Occupational Therapy license (please provide a recent license snapshot with your application)
• Previous experience as a school-based OT preferred
• Familiarity with ECATS documentation/software is a plus
• Ability to adapt quickly in dynamic K-12 settings
• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills

What You'll Do:

• Provide direct occupational therapy services to students based on their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Conduct assessments and develop goal-driven treatment plans for a diverse caseload
• Travel between multiple school sites within the district as needed
• Document services accurately in ECATS, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and best practices
• Consult and collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to maximize student outcomes
• Contribute expertise to IEP meetings and support district initiatives
