Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) - Home Health / Early Intervention

Setting: Home Health / Early Intervention (Field-Based)

Overview

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a growing, patient-focused team. This role focuses on providing early intervention services to pediatric patients, primarily ages 0-3, with occasional cases up to 8 years old.

This is a field-based position offering the opportunity to work in diverse environments, including patient homes, daycare centers, schools, and ABA clinics.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
Provide therapy in both individual and group settings
Collaborate with families, occupational therapists, and healthcare professionals
Deliver therapy across home, school, and community settings
Maintain accurate and timely documentation
Participate in ongoing professional development

Qualifications

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
Minimum 2 years of pediatric experience (independent practice)
Strong clinical skills in assessment, diagnosis, and treatment
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
Ability to manage caseload independently

Licensure & Certifications

Active North Carolina SLP License (Required)
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) - ASHA

Schedule & Work Structure

Flexible schedule (typically between 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM)
Starts as part-time, transitions to full-time within ~2 months
Typical caseload: up to 6-8 patients per day (30-minute sessions)
