Step into a fulfilling contract opportunity as a Licensed Occupational Therapist supporting students across school sites near Kannapolis, NC. This role focuses on providing essential OT services during a maternity leave, with a full-time commitment through January 2027. Work will be itinerant, serving various schools to deliver impactful, school-based interventions that help students succeed in their educational environments.

What you’ll need to bring:

• Current, active North Carolina OT license (a snapshot of your license will be requested)
• Previous experience delivering occupational therapy services in school settings
• Familiarity with ECATS (Exceptional Children Accountability Tracking System)
• Strong communication skills, adaptability, and ability to manage a diverse caseload
• Ability to travel between assigned schools as needed

Key responsibilities include:

• Conducting assessments and delivering interventions for students requiring OT support
• Collaborating with teachers, administrators, and multidisciplinary teams to develop IEP goals
• Completing thorough documentation and maintaining accurate student records in compliance with state and district guidelines
• Utilizing ECATS for reporting and tracking student progress
• Supporting students across various educational sites, adapting interventions based on individual needs
