Make an immediate impact supporting students as a school-based Occupational Therapist for the upcoming maternity leave coverage! This full-time, contract opportunity offers the chance to work across campuses as an itinerant therapist, enhancing the lives of children. The assignment begins as soon as possible and is expected to continue through the end of January.

Preferred candidates bring hands-on experience delivering occupational therapy in academic settings and demonstrate flexibility to travel between locations as needed. A current North Carolina OT license and familiarity with ECATS documentation are required.

Qualifications:

• Active North Carolina Occupational Therapist (OT) license (must provide snapshot)
• Experience providing occupational therapy in schools (ECATS system knowledge preferred)
• Ability to support diverse student needs and collaborate with educators
• Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills
• Comfort with assuming itinerant responsibilities across school sites

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct OT services, assessments, and consultative support to students per IEPs
• Complete documentation accurately using ECATS platform
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student learning and functional independence
• Adjust and adapt therapeutic approaches to individual and group settings
• Communicate progress and recommend strategies or accommodations
