Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Job Description

Job Summary:
Provide acute emergency care to patients in a fast-paced ER environment, ensuring prompt, efficient, and compassionate service. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient-centered care during every shift.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions quickly and accurately to prioritize care needs.
• Administer treatments, medications, and interventions following established protocols.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members regarding care plans and progress.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of patient assessments, treatments, and outcomes in the EMR system.
• Adhere to safety standards, policies, and procedures, including unit-specific guidelines.
• Assist in ongoing training and support for new or rotating staff members.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid RN license and meet state licensure requirements.
• Demonstrate at least 1.5 years of recent ER nursing experience; 2+ years preferred.
• Possess BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications.
• Have prior experience with Meditech EHR system.
• Exhibit strong prioritization, time management, and team collaboration skills.
• Ability to work rotating weekends and on-call shifts.
