About the Role
The Company is seeking a Provost/Chief Academic Officer (CAO) to serve as the Chief Academic Officer and a key member of the President's Leadership Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for academic planning, program assessments, development, and accreditation, as well as budget development and management. This role requires a leader with a principled, collaborative, and transparent leadership style, committed to academic freedom, shared governance, and inclusive excellence. The Provost/CAO will work closely with the faculty, staff, and students to ensure the academic quality of undergraduate and graduate programs, foster academic excellence, and support the integration of the University's mission throughout the academic enterprise. Candidates for the Provost/CAO position at the company should have an earned doctorate and a strong record of accomplishment in growing academic programs and creating successful academic partnerships. Essential qualifications include experience in personnel management, a commitment to the highest ethical principles, and the ability to manage budgets effectively. The role demands a leader with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, who can work with the Board and other stakeholders to oversee academic processes and ensure educational quality. The ideal candidate will be strategic, seasoned, and entrepreneurial, with a collaborative leadership style that can motivate all participants within a mission-driven culture.
