Primary Responsibilities * Manage Sales Territory: Serve as the primary representative within an assigned territory, conducting regular in-person visits to fleet operators, repair shops, and municipal clients to build and maintain strong partnerships. * Develop Product Expertise: Participate in company-provided training to develop a strong understanding of heavy-duty and medium-duty truck parts, enabling you to confidently recommend solutions that meet customer needs. You’ll become the "go-to" person for customers who need to keep their trucks on the road. * Generate and Maintain Business: Proactively identify new sales opportunities while nurturing existing accounts to foster long-term customer relationships and sustained revenue growth. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: * Basic knowledge of heavy-duty truck parts or mechanical systems preferred (training provided). * Strong communication and customer service skills. * Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. * Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications. Requirements: * High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree in business or related field preferred. * Self-motivated professional and a willingness to learn the commercial truck industry. * Results-oriented individual that is motivated to achieve goals and contribute to the company’s growth. * Effective time manager and one that knows how to effectively take initiative in the field. * Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills. * Valid driver’s license with clean driving records. Working Conditions * This position involves regular travel within an assigned territory and may require lifting materials consistent with industry standards. * Moderate to high noise levels due to proximity to shop areas. * Occasional exposure to fumes and shop environment conditions. * Work performed indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions.
