Job Description
Utilization Management RN

Schedule

8-hour days, Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 4:30 PM, with every fifth weekend rotation.

Assignment Details

Guaranteed Hours: 40 Weekly
Contract Weeks: 13

Requirements

• 2 years of experience in utilization management, with experience regarding providers.
• CCM or CMCN certification required.
• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR), specifically Epic.
• Familiarity with utilization management tools, specifically Dragonfly.
• Degree accreditation verification or 5 years of related experience required.
• Must be computer literate and have some experience with remote work.

Responsibilities

• Utilize clinical expertise to conduct reviews and assess the appropriateness of patient care.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams and providers to ensure quality patient outcomes.
• Monitor utilization patterns and ensure compliance with established guidelines.
• Assist in the development and implementation of care management initiatives.
• Document and report findings in an accurate and timely manner.
