Accounts Payable Analyst

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Analyst to join our accounting team for a temporary period. This role is responsible for managing full-cycle accounts payable functions, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices and payments while supporting financial reporting and internal controls. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is comfortable working with large volumes of data. Key Responsibilities Process high-volume invoices, ensuring accuracy, proper coding, and timely entry into the accounting system Perform three-way match (purchase order, invoice, receipt) and resolve discrepancies Prepare and execute payment runs, including check, ACH, and wire transactions Reconcile vendor statements and investigate discrepancies or outstanding balances Maintain vendor records, including onboarding, W-9 collection, and account updates Respond to vendor inquiries and resolve issues in a professional and timely manner Assist with month-end close activities, including accruals and account reconciliations Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and audit requirements Maintain organized documentation and support audit requests Develop and maintain Excel reports for tracking, analysis, and reconciliation purposes Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve AP processes and efficiencies Qualifications Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred 2+ years of accounts payable or general accounting experience Strong understanding of accounting principles and AP processes Experience with ERP systems and accounting software Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables preferred) High attention to detail with strong organizational and problem‑solving skills Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally Preferred Experience Experience in high-volume or manufacturing environment Knowledge of three-way match and invoice coding processes Exposure to month-end close and financial reporting #J-18808-Ljbffr LHH
