Opportunity:


RN - Pediatric PACU


Job Details:


• Evening/night shifts available in 8, 10, or 12-hour increments
• Shift times are 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM or 11:00 PM - 7:30 AM with flexibility
• Schedule is Monday through Friday or Sunday through Thursday with no on-call
• Contract length of 13-17 weeks accepted
• At least 2 years of pediatric PACU experience required
• Epic charting system experience required
• Wisconsin RN or compact RN license required; pending WI license accepted with submission
• Required certifications: BLS and PALS (AHA only)
• Must pass a Telemetry test prior to being cleared to start
• Travel experience required
• Travelers are required to float as needed
• Must be located more than 50 miles from the facility; locals not accepted
• Responsible for independent peri-anesthetic management of complex surgical and procedural inpatient/outpatient pediatric populations
• Care for a varied caseload of surgical and procedural patients across neonatal, infant, pediatric, adolescent, and adult age groups
• Previous charge experience preferred

This state-of-the-art pediatric medical and surgical center is a Magnet-designated facility that provides specialized care in a healing environment designed for pediatric patients and their families. The facility is home to a Level One Pediatric Trauma Center and a Level IV NICU, serving patients throughout Wisconsin and beyond. It features nationally recognized pediatric specialists across a wide range of fields and offers comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, radiology, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and more.
