Plumbing EstimatorWe are recruiting for a Plumbing Estimator in the Pittsburgh, PA area with Commercial construction experience. Successful candidates must have a minimum of 3 years Commercial Plumbing Estimating projects larger than $2 Million. Our client is a large regional contractor that is in expansion mode. The position needs to be filled immediately. Project mix includes Commercial, Government, Education, Healthcare, Multi-family, and Industrial.Job responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:Read and understand the project specificationsDevelopment of master budgets and cost models for Plumbing projectsProvide conceptual estimates of projectsProvide Hard Bid Estimates of projectsDevelop and maintain cost databasesReviews and comments on estimates provided by othersProvide independent estimates of change ordersDevelop pre-construction cost estimatesRequirements:Experience: 3 years experience as an Estimator with projects larger than $2M or an incredible career history to be consideredSolid track record of projects that involve commercial pipingConceptual bid experience is preferredSolid communication skills – both verbal and writtenAbility to establish timelines and budgetsAbility to multi-taskSolid proven and verifiable record of career stability and estimating success is a mustMust have solid computer skillsThe ability to work as a Project Manager is a plusExperience in estimating Mechanical & HVAC projects will be highly consideredA four year degree in a construction related field is preferredBenefits:This company cares about and is committed to the well being of its employees and their families.
