Current Openings Materials Associate Position Summary The Materials Associate is responsible for supporting purchasing, shipping, inventory control, and material movement activities within a busy manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities Purchase Receipt Processing Receive purchased materials into the ERP system Perform incoming inspections, including: Verification of material certifications Quantity confirmation Dimensional attribute checks Label materials and relocate to appropriate stockroom locations Collaborate with Quality to improve receiving processes, documentation, and workflow efficiency Shipment Processing Coordinate daily shipping schedule with Production to meet customer delivery requirements Package completed products for shipment, including: Visual inspection Dimensional verification Documentation review for completeness and accuracy Process shipments within the ERP system Inventory Processing Organize and maintain stockroom inventory Maintain and improve point‑of‑use “supermarket” inventory locations throughout manufacturing Perform cycle counts and support inventory accuracy initiatives Track material expiration dates and remove expired materials Issue materials to work orders per production schedule Move in‑process production between operations Expedite materials to support on‑time shipment Maintain Kanban and 2‑bin systems; recommend and implement improvements Additional Responsibilities Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications & Skills Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment Effective time management skills Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Strong written and verbal communication skills Demonstrated teamwork and leadership abilities Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) Ability to quickly learn and navigate ERP systems Familiarity with ISO 9001 quality environments preferred Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles preferred Physical Requirements Ability to perform basic office and administrative functions Ability to stand for extended periods during shipping activities Ability to lift, move, and handle parts up to 30 pounds Ability to crouch, reach, and lift as required Schedule 40‑hour work week Monday – Thursday 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM (30‑minute lunch) Benefits Paid vacation Paid holidays Sick/personal time Company‑supplemented medical insurance Short‑term disability coverage 401(k) Profit sharing Pre‑employment drug testing required. #J-18808-Ljbffr
